Evidence Against Evolution

Creation vs evolution has been a debate for many years, one in which Christians may feel like they are losing because of the wide-spread teachings of this theory in the public schools and universities. But, new and exciting evidence against evolution has been found as natural events are shedding new light upon the actual amount of time that it takes to form the layers in the earth that were once used to estimate time passages. Actually, as this society grows more and more knowledgeable, we find that science and religion are not so very far apart, and that much of today's discoveries line up perfectly with the historical events recorded in the Bible. But still, hard core evolutionist refuse to research new evidence or answer questions about the gaping holes in their theories. Many have begun to question if the agenda of the evolutionist has more to do with religion than science in the first place.



Because Darwin's theory is now the predominant teaching found in our public school systems and in higher education institutions around the world, one might come to think that Charles Darwin's theory of evolution had been proven as fact. This theory - that the world began from a random piece of matter that was over heated and then exploded into the living planet we dwell upon today - still continues to have large gaps and questions without answers. Nothing about the Darwin theory is fact or has been proven so. Meanwhile, modern day science and events continue to prove that this universe has a Maker, a Creator, a Designer who put the order together with great purpose. The creation vs evolution debate has changed dramatically in the last few years, and the evidence against evolution is starting to mount.



With the eruption of Mount St. Helens, the theories that rock layers and sediment are formed with one catastrophic event were proven. When Mt. St. Helen's exploded, hot lava, rocks, dirt, and steam plowed through the northern slopes leaving as much as six hundred feet of sediment. The mixture of elements were not homogenized but rather layered in horizontal patterns; rock layers that were created in a matter of hours. And, new canyons were formed as backed up water broke through the newly laid layers. What evolutionists have believed takes millions of years to create all happened within a day, thanks to Mt. St. Helens, and thanks to our God, who just proved that in the debate of creation vs evolution, He wins. Yet, some scientist, and certainly many politicians still cling to the theories of Darwin when the evidence against evolution continues to be proven. One great world-wide flood is not just a theory for the different fossils found in sediment, but is also fact that is recorded in history. Interestingly, as science is beginning to prove the truth of our beginnings, many turn deaf ears and blind eyes. Why would a community that spends billions of dollars and years of lives trying to discover the origins of man turn away when the origins of man are being found? The answer that the Christian scientific community has to this questions is simple. God. Evidence against evolution means evidence toward a superior being, a Creator. To admit that there is a Creator and to recognize that the Bible is in fact true is a much more intense matter than simply claiming a theory. There is accountability and life change when we talk about believing in God. Perhaps the Darwin theory has more to do with proving there is no God than proving the age of the universe or the origins of living matter.



Much of what is taught in evolution is in direct opposition to what is taught in the Bible. Sound familiar? Every thing that Satan does is in an attempt to counterfeit God and we can recognize his handy-work in the deceitful teachings that life evolved from nothing. The creation vs evolution debate may have an "enemies of God vs God" familiar ring to it. Evolutionist teach that the world began with a bang and is progressively getting better. Creationism teaches just the opposite. The Bible tells us that God created the world perfect, and because of the sin of man, the world in a continuous state of decline, one which will eventually lead to complete destruction. Interesting, this destruction sounds much like the beginning theory of the Big Bang. "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up" (2 Peter 3:11).



Further teachings of evolutionist include that the earth was formed after the galaxies, while the Bible states that the heavens were formed after the earth. Evolutionists claim that man is made in the image of a primate, an ape. The Bible teaches that man is made in the image of God. When taking the time to study the points of evolution, a Christian can begin to discern an agenda, one that seems to mock the Creator of the universe. What the Christian community and church must recognize (with alertness) is that false teachings may not always come in the form of church doctrine; it may come in the form of science.
